Malta is well connected, with gigabit-capable broadband widely available. Here is how to get online in your new home.

The providers

  • GO — the incumbent operator, with an extensive fibre network.
  • Melita — cable and fibre-powered broadband, TV and mobile bundles.
  • Epic — formerly Vodafone Malta, mobile and broadband, building its own fibre network.

All three offer mobile, home broadband and bundles.

Setting up at home

  1. Check which networks reach your building.
  2. Compare bundles — internet, TV, mobile.
  3. Book installation early, especially in new blocks.

Mobile

Prepaid SIMs are easy to buy on arrival; contracts usually need ID and proof of address. 4G coverage is widespread and 5G is available.
