Privacy Policy
Last updated 29 September 2026
This policy explains how RE/MAX Luxe Malta (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use this website or contact us about buying, selling, letting or investing in property, or about Malta’s residency programmes. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Maltese Data Protection Act (Cap. 586).
Who we are
RE/MAX Luxe Malta, Dolphin Court, Tigné Seafront, Sliema SLM 3012, Malta. For any privacy matter, contact info@remax-luxe.com or call +356 9942 3070. Each RE/MAX office is independently owned and operated.
What we collect
Information you give us — such as your name, email address, telephone number, country of residence, the property or service you are interested in and anything you include in your message. When you become a client we may also collect identification and due-diligence information required by law, including under Malta’s anti-money-laundering rules.
How we use it
To respond to your enquiry and arrange viewings or valuations (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract); to provide our brokerage and advisory services (performance of a contract); to meet legal and regulatory obligations such as customer due diligence (legal obligation); and, where you have agreed, to send you property updates (consent, which you may withdraw at any time).
Who we share it with
Where needed to handle your request, we share information with the RE/MAX advisor representing a property, with other parties to a transaction (such as the vendor, notary or your legal advisor), with the RE/MAX Malta network, and with service providers who host our systems and communications. We never sell your personal data.
International transfers
If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on an adequacy decision or on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months unless they lead to a transaction. Client and transaction records are kept for as long as the law requires — generally up to ten years for anti-money-laundering and tax purposes.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction or erasure of your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, request a copy in a portable format and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email us. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC), Floor 2, Airways House, Triq Il-Kbira, Tas-Sliema SLM 1549, Malta — idpc.org.mt.
